Elena Skroznikova is the founder of the Sweet Science wellness program, certified nutrition counselor, and science-based health coach who works with people in recovery from addiction.
When people stop using drugs or alcohol, they often face particular nutrition and wellness issues, and continue to co-exist with symptoms like uncontrollable weight gain, exhaustion, sugar cravings, caffeine dependency, mood swings, and poor digestion.
Elena helps her clients develop a unique program based on their needs that teaches them how to cook and eat well, which supplements to take, and how to set other healthy routines like meditation and good sleeping habits, so they can make the most of their new sobriety.
Elena is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She also holds various credentials and certifications in the healing arts, holistic wellness, yoga, and meditation. Since 2013, she has been providing science-based, individualized support and guidance to adults of all ages, genders, persuasions, and occupations who want to understand and take charge of their health in sobriety, so they can actually feel great—not just be sober.
Elena has personally endured life-wrecking traumas including addiction and abuse, and has worked her way out of depression, anxiety, and self-defeating habits.
Elena is originally from northern Russia. She went to college and grad school in the US, and worked in skyscraping NYC offices for over a decade before heeding her true calling. She is now based in the San Francisco Bay Area and works with clients around the world in person and via Skype.
